Neigbourhood Watch Scheme
The parish council has begun an initiative to encourage as many residents as possible to join in a village wide neighbourhood watch scheme. Funds have been allocated and a councillor as begun to visit house by house with posters/stickers to those who feel that they would like to participate in the scheme. You are not obligated to join and therefore no pressure will be placed upon any householder.
We beleive that there will be sufficient uptake to make the iniative a worthwhile exercise.
Climate Action Plan
We have declared a climate emergency and are in the process of developing a climate action plan for the village. Our mission statement is
“To raise awareness of the climate crisis and encourage residents to consider their carbon footprint and make changes in their lifestyles to reach Suffolk’s target of Net Zero by 2030”
